Job Description
A core professional relationship role responsible for developing large to medium customer relationships, providing advice / solutions based on thorough analysis of customer needs. Work needs to be to a high standard and fully compliant. Role holder may manage a small team mainly providing support services relating to relationship management. Business Development : Regularly review the market to identify opportunities in allocated sectors and develop proposals for approval. 2. Proposals : Prepare and gain approval for proposals that will meet the policies and customer needs. 3. Risk Analysis : Analyse risks to assess risk/returns and initiate timely remedial actions, where appropriate. 4. Relationship Management : Take personal responsibility for the establishment and maintenance of key relationships to leverage business achievement. 5. Professional Advice : Provide professional and expert advice on products and services to customers and business leads to other units to ensure that business opportunities are realised. 6. Account Reviews : Regularly review account performance and make appropriate recommendations for optimising returns. 7. Compliance : Comply with the approved policies, procedures and norms to protect the organisation’s and customer’s interests. 8. Staff Supervision : Supervise and guide a team of junior relationship / support staff to deliver targeted results

Education & Experience · A degree holder with 3 - 5 years of experience in Corporate Banking with well-developed business connections · Proven track record of success within the Corporate Banking market and have the ability and vision to offer a high quality service to clients whilst generating income for the bank. Knowledge & Skills · Ability to build and develop business relationships with existing and target customers · Relationship Management skills · Business Development skills · Strong networker - developing external relationships · Strong understanding of bank’s products & services - cross selling to corporate customers · Ability to negotiate and model customer focussed solutions · Strong Financial and Business Analysis skills · Commercial / Industry awareness
