Job Description
Develop site specific masterplans to improve economic performance considering regional and global supply chain options, customers’ technical and other constraints, detailed margin and cost analysis, investment opportunities and manufacturing strategies; Develop sustainable integrated solutions to deliver masterplans; Lead / facilitate teams on programmes such as supply margin analysis, business viability studies, product portfolio analysis, investment planning and strategy and unit profitability reviews; Identify, mobilize and manage technical resources for programmes from HCM and other Shell Global Solutions delivery groups; Deliver and report team results within budget, on time and with proof of achievement. Lead by example in complying with Shell HSSE and other standards; Works in partnership with client (at all levels, challenging and developing consensus at senior management level) to prioritise work and overcome technical and (people) management barriers to implementation; Support selling the HCM offering to potential clients via conferences and acquisition visits; Will capture and disseminate lessons learned to enhance quality of services provided by Operations Asset Management (OAM); Coach and mentor junior staff; Will establish good working relationships with customers.

Desired Candidate's Profile

15 years of experience in refining and/or petrochemicals with a formal engineering degree at Bachelor /Master’s level with practical operational experience Excellent overall with detailed knowledge/experience in few: Refinery/petrochemical processes & operations, available competitive technologies, best practices, supply and manufacturing economics Specific Experience in one or more of Operations, Technology, Economics & Scheduling Experience in Change Management whilst implementing improvement strategies and programmes; Excellent facilitation and communication skills (verbal/writing/presentations) with an open mind for understanding current practices, suggestions/improvement ideas. Fluent in English; Capable of working in culturally diverse small sized high performance teams in pressured situations, i.e. a strong team worker; Ability to work independently and in virtual teams Travel up to 50% of the workable hours requiring presence at customer’s site for 2-4 weeks in a row; Ability to deliver in other technical consultancy (Operations and Asset Management, Carbon and Energy Management, Change Management) disciplines is an advantage; Authorisation to work in India is required for this position; A remuneration package based on the conditions in the country of employment will be offered for this position.
