Job Description

To ensure we improve ICT processes and systems using the most appropriate innovative technology to raise productivity, efficiency and profitability. Writes and maintains organizational policy with regard to ICT quality standards and strategic planning. Manages ICT support team in the maintenance of the ICT infrastructure. To ensure the ICT support team is effective in its delivery of ICT services to the business. To ensure the team works to Fifth Ring business processes.make the mundane exemplary, the impossible inevitable through creativity.say what we will do, and do what we say.earn client loyalty by pledging ourselves to their interests.care about people, without becoming their caretakers.develop and grow through hard work, learning and sharing of knowledge.Accountabilities can be classified into 3 areas: Systems, processes, management and staffEffective management of all systems to suit the business requirements.To ensure systems meet statutory compliance standards.Keep up to date with new innovative technologies and integrate them with as little disruption to the business.Researching new systemsEffective management of all ICT processes to suit the business and individual’s requirements.To continuously improve processes and ensure full compliance throughout the entire organisation.ManagementFeedback problems through the right channelsManage and oversee the ICT support function across the groupAccountable to DirectorsWork scheduled and tasks optimally allocated & completed in timely mannerPlanning and recommending to the Excom team the appropriate ICT resources requiredPlanning, developing and implementing the ICT budget, obtaining competitive prices from suppliers, where appropriate, to ensure cost effectivenessSupporting business unit managers and their teams in the adoption of ICT processes & systemsQuality and quality assurance of ICT provisionDevelopment and management of the ICT business planTo ensure that all staff are trained, either internally or via external training providers on how to use relevant hardware and software that they require to fulfil their role.Evaluating user needs and system functionalityEnsuring that ICT facilities meet the needs of individuals and projectsStaff supportedStaff inductionsEnsures all staff understand and comply with Fifth Ring ICT policy.
