Job Description

Reporting to the CFO he will responsible to set-up, maintain and upgrade the central computer system including programming, data entry processes, report writing. He/she will also co-ordinate with the various departments of the organization in developing the IT infrastructure of the organization and support the departmental IT Hardware and software. In addition he/she will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading the IT inventory on a regular basis.

The ideal person would have the sufficient experience in managing IT infrastructure and with an ERP backend support preferably in SAP Business One. He/ she will be creative, enthusiastic and have the ability to update themselves of the latest developments in the industry. Must be confident and have good spoken and written English language skills. Must be able to handle pressure and meet project deadlines. The Middle East Market knowledge will be a distinct advantage. Bachelor’s in Computer Sciences preferably with an MCSE, & CCNA Certification.Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in IT infrastructure management.Background in SAP implementation, preferably in Business One will be an added advantage.Must have working knowledge of “.Net”Set-up the central computer system to support the business processes.Support the SAP B1 system integration with Fusion.Support the SAP B1 implementation process.Responsible for servicing different departments inside the organization in as far as reports writing and reports requirements are concerned Carry out necessary conference rooms pilots for new business processes in order to validate that the outcome meets the objectives as set in the business process analysis.Responsible for training users, train the trainers and produce training manuals in order to ensure an acceptable transfer of knowledge is achieved prior to releasing any new application Installation of standard software, hardware, and maintenance of database of all hardware (New PCs, Printers, re-installation & upgrade of existing PCs)Data backup and recovery on all equipmentHelp Service: Identification, isolation, tracking, reporting and resolution of end user hardware and software problems.Desktop and Server Operating System SupportNetwork infrastructure support (Login, connector, printing etc)Updating antivirusGeneric System Software support (Disk Defrag, Set-up & diagnostics, O/S crashes)Hardware and Software Trouble shooting, notifying pre-failure supportNetworking Hardware and software support (user side)Software upgrade and licensing management using electronic software wherever required.Hardware and system configuration maintenance and fine –tuningAny other tasks or activities assigned by DEMAG Management in line and within the scope.
