Job Description
* Manager the laboratory’s chemistry business operationally * Take responsibility for the lab’s profit and loss * Delivery of services to meet the overall business plan targets for the laboratory * Maintenance of Health and Safety and Quality standards within a UKAS accredited 17025 quality management system. * Client liaison and care, quotation generation and report authorisation. * Pursuance of local sales and business development opportunities * Overall responsibility for timely sample turnaround

* Proven Managerial Skills with at least 3-5 years in similar role. * Degree/Post Graduation in Chemistry with relevant experience in analytical chemistry. * Strong operational chemistry background ideally with LIMS implementation experience. * Basic knowledge of instrumental techniques – ideally including , OES, AAS, XRF expertise would be particularly useful * Strong and determined quality focus. * Self motivated team player with excellent orginisational and communication skills
