Job Description
Coordinate and act as liaison between functional, ABAP and infrastructure staff to support the SAP DEV, QA and PRD environments. System Trouble Shooting and Tuning: „XProactively monitor and assist in the support of the SAP Enterprise Architecture environments in order to ensure efficient trouble shooting and tuning of the systems at the SAP and database levels. Standard Operating Procedure: „XDevelop Standard Operating Procedures and other documentation to perform and support production activities. Updates and Patches: „XCoordinate application and up gradation of all SAP System updates, patches and fixes to ensure full functionality of SAP software is utilised in the business processes. SAP Support Administration: „XInstall, upgrade and maintain SAP related servers, printers, third party hardware / software to ensure full functionality of SAP software is utilised in the business processes. Change Transport Management: „XAdminister the change transport management system to ensure software is transferred in an appropriate manner and is secure during the movement from one client to the other. Formal Procedures: „XDevelop & maintain formal procedures to record & rectify resolution of user complaints in a consistent and cost effective manner. Direction of Contractors: „XOrganise and supervise the activities and work of the contractors to ensure that all work agreed upon is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with the organisation requirements and is in line with operating procedures and policy. Policies & Procedures: „XRecommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering the communication systems area activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers. New Projects: „XIdentify opportunities for improvements to processes/procedures in the implementation and maintenance of SAP systems and make recommendations in implementing appropriate systems. Safety, Quality & Environment: „XEnsure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude. The job holder requires an in-depth knowledge of SAP computing technologies and must be able to configure and integrate SAP system with other organisation information systems. The job holder supports the technology and business specialist in providing consistent solutions in line with Marafiq IT development strategies.

Minimum Qualifications: „XUniversity Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems. „XSAP AG certification/accreditation „XBroad knowledge of AIX and a certification „XBroad knowledge of Oracle and a certification Minimum Experience: „X5 years generalist IT/IS experience, ideally with a large industrial or utilities organisation Job-Specific Skills: „XBroad knowledge of SAP functional module capability and functionality „XExperience of training users in systems operation „XExcellent SAP report designing skills
