Job Description
• To review regularly the Manpower Plan against resources available, to identify gaps/surpluses in demand and supply and to agree with line management on actions to respond to all this. • Resolve any manpower gaps between job file and personal files with line management. • Provides information on Omanization status of the company & to Ministry of Manpower as required. • Manage the succession planning exercise. • Develop guidelines for succession planning. • Manage staff movement and ensure proper transfer procedures. • Ensure that the Job Descriptions is maintained, updated and evaluated • Relate human resources needs to the overall activities of the organization. • Ensure that all positions in the company have Competency Profiles that are relevant and cover all competencies required to develop a personal development plan (PDP) in liaison with Competency administrator. • Ensure completeness of all Learning & Training records. This includes cleansing of training history records electronically. • Conduct one-to-one review sessions with employees of all Departments and provide counseling to employees with regard to their development. • Draft a career plan for all employees in coordination with line managers/heads. • Map out and discuss with the new employee on possible career path and outline career planning progression. • Facilitate and support the line management when conducting an exercise in performance management. • Conduct road shows on performance appraisal. • Compile essential documents for conducting road shows of performance management. • Maintain records of the ranking exercises as appropriate. • Analyse the overall performance result of each department/section and draw learning. • To ensure that the T&T, mid year review and end year review is implemented to all staff.

Desired Candidate's Profile
Profile
• Degree in BA/ Human Resources with 5 years related experience or Diploma in BA/ Human Resources, or equivalent with 8 years related experience. • Broad experience in manpower planning/succession planning, personal development plan & Omanization. • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills • Business oriented. • Able to develop close relationships with all stakeholders. • Creative and able to plan and work independently • Excellent English Language skills and PC literate.

Education Basic - Bachelor of Arts ( Bachelor of Arts , Economics ) , PG - MBA/PG Diploma in Business Mgmt ( HR/Industrial Relations )
