Job Description
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of BSS and M/W systems. Perform field technical support functions for hardware, software and maintenance of the BSS and microwave radio facilities. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on BSS and MW equipment. Respond to and clear alarms at the BSS (as required). Perform file system maintenance (as required).Maintain, update and perform backup on the database (as required). Troubleshoot faults by using the appropriate test equipment. Replace faulty circuit packs and restore equipment to service. Calibrate TX frequency, adjust the output power and tune the filters. Perform preventive maintenance on a scheduled basis. Perform retrofit and growth for BSS equipment. Perform backup on the database (as required).
Desired Candidate's Profile
Profile
2 years degree or higher in electronics or computer technology. 2 year wireless Telecommunication experience. 1-year experience with GSM, BSS and MW. Operation and maintenance experience preferred. Familiar with Base Station hardware and software architecture. Familiarity with use of test equipment, protocol analyzer, spectrum analyzer, BTS tester, etc: Knowledge of PCM technology and transmission testing. Communication and technical writing skills. English language skills, Arabic a plus. Saudi Arabian driving license, or current license. Willing to travel within Saudi Arabia. Willing to move.
